Objetivo: Conocer el nivel de conocimiento sobre métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes del AA.HH. Nueva Juventud, Carabayllo 2024. Materiales y métodos: Se ejecutará con un enfoque cualitativo, diseño metodológico será descriptivo. Instrumento: Se utilizó un cuestionario sobre “Conocimiento sobre Métodos Anticonceptivos (ECMA)”, compuesto por 21 preguntas sobre el conocimiento de los métodos anticonceptivos, otorgando 1 punto por respuesta correcta. Resultados: En relación con esto, se obtiene que, en las cuatro dimensiones de concepto, importancia, tipos y frecuencia, los adolescentes de dicha área de estudio obtienen un nivel de conocimiento medio. Conclusiones: Por lo tanto, se concluye que se debe seguir incorporando más conocimientos sobre los diferentes tipos de métodos anticonceptivos para prevenir embarazos no deseados, retraso escolar o enfermedades infecciosas.
Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about contraceptive methods in adolescents from the AA.HH. Nueva Juventud, Carabayllo during the year 2024. Materials and methods: This research study will be carried out using a quantitative approach, since numerical data will be collected. Regarding the methodological design, it will be descriptive. Instrument: The technique for data collection was the survey and the instrument used was the questionnaire "Knowledge about Contraceptive Methods (ECMA)", composed of 21 questions stipulated to the knowledge of contraceptive methods, which are distributed in 4 dimensions, these being: concept, which consists of 7 items. Importance, which consists of 3 items. Type, which consists of 5 items and frequency, which consists of 6 items. Results: In relation to this, it is obtained that in the four dimensions of concept, importance, types and frequency, adolescents in said study area obtain a medium level of knowledge. Conclusions: Therefore, it is concluded that more types of knowledge about the different types of contraceptive methods should continue to be incorporated in order to prevent unwanted pregnancies, academic delays or infectious diseases.
